The “Iraklis Farm” lies at the ark of Mt. Olympus and the Pieria mountain-range and at a distance of 13 kilometers from Katerini (on the road taking to Elassona) on the intersection to the ski center of Elatohori. On a vast field of 13 acres, Mr. Iraklis Tsintziras, the owner of the Farm, and his family, offer you the opportunity to get acquainted with the true meaning of agrotourism. In addition to touring the Pieria and Olympus on horseback with overnight stay in tents and shelters, you can also enjoy a variety of delicacies made with pure ingredients and also get to know the work around the Farm.
The Farm has a dining hall with large verandas able to accommodate up to 300 people and is open for hospitality year-round. At this amazing recreation area visitors can choose their meals from a list rich in traditional and pure products, such as home-baked bread, feta cheese made with fresh cow and goat milk, meat, eggs, pies, sweets and jams made in the traditional way and with a lot of care.

The Farm accepts educational travel groups of students and non-students. Children come in contact with animals and nature enjoying safe games at the playground, but also the green areas, such as a 5*5 soccer field, the archery area, the luna-park and the covered gazebos. They can also take short walks to the river at a small distance from the Farm, ride the horse-cart around the Farm and go horseback riding outside the Farm.
The 100 horses that are kept and reproduced at the Farm’s stables – a Greek breed is reproduced – are available for one-day, two-day and three-day trips and excursions with overnight stay at tents and mountain shelters.
In addition to the horses, the Farm houses more animals such as cows, goats, wild pig, ducks, geese and peacocks.

Visitors could participate in daily farm chores, if they wish, such as feeding and training of the horses and all of the animals mentioned above, getting to know in that manner the true meaning of agrotourism.
