Development Agency S.A. has seen through the successful completion of several local development programs, such as the European Initiative Leader+, a fact that has decisively contributed to the development of tourism infrastructures, as well as the development of “tourist awareness” to agencies and residents, in the prefecture of Kilkis.

The tourist horseback riding ranch, a verdant recreation area at 5 km from Kilkis offering to horse-and-nature lovers unique moments of recreation including tours on horseback or on a coach, but also archery and unique culinary delicacies and drinks at the saloon bar, year round.
The tourist accommodation and restaurants at beautiful Goumenissa, Polykastro, Pikrolimni and Evzonoi, which have been upgraded to offer high level services in a home atmosphere.
The small industries that manufacture bread and bakery products, dairy and cheese products, reveal the secrets of the local gastronomic tradition with techniques and recipes that use local products such as milk and wheat.
The wineries (open to the public) at the famous wine-producing land of Goumenissa participate in the “Wine Roads” program, thrilling wine enthusiasts with a variety of taste, color and aroma.
The museums of our agricultural and cultural heritage at Evropos, Polykastro and Aghios Antonios house valuable collections of folk art created by members of the multicultural refugee community.
