“APOKATASTASI S.A.” Physical Rehabilitation and Recovery Center for inpatient and outpatient care is located on the 6th kilometer of the Trikala-Karditsa National Road in the provincial town of Trikala – mentioned by Homer as Trika - birthplace of Asclepius, the ancient god of medicine and healing. Located at a small distance from Athens, as well as from the northern Greek capital city of Thessaloniki, it is easily accessible by road. It is also served by the nearby regional airport of Nea Aghialos in Volos.
At a mere 18 kilometers from the Center is Meteora (UNESCO World Heritage Site), a region of almost inaccessible sandstone peaks, where monks since the 11th century have built and inhabited monasteries that seem suspended in the air.
In accordance with international practice, “APOKATASTASI S.A.” has the equipment and infrastructure to offer patients the opportunity to combine treatment, medical services and relaxation time, in places like Pertouli www.pertouli.net, Plastiras Lake - www.plastiras-lake.gr and Meteora - www.gometeora.gr.
Established in the summer of 2009, the Center was designed to provide high quality health and rehabilitation services to a special category of inpatients and outpatients, in compliance with requirements set by international insurance companies, European insurance funds and other carriers involved in the broader health services market.
